Broken Curfew Records proudly announces that guitar legend James Murphy (Testament, Obituary) will track a guest solo on “Mohler Mosh,” featured on MOHLER’s upcoming album The Groans Of Creation.

Murphy’s playing shaped the architecture of modern thrash and death metal. His phrasing cuts with surgical clarity. His solos carry both fire and intelligence. Bringing that voice into a MOHLER track marks a defining moment in the band’s history.

Grant Moher, vocalist of MOHLER, shared his excitement:

“I just woke up to this. My all time favorite musician, James Murphy not only repping my band’s shirt, but will be tracking a guitar solo on our song, ‘Mohler Mosh’. I have done a lot of cool things with my music throughout the years (30 years playing) and I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for anything to do with music in my entire life. I definitely cried a little bit. Haha This is going to be so special to me, I can’t even put it into words! Thank you, James from all of us in Mohler!”

Thirty years into a career and still moved to tears. That says everything.

“The Groans Of Creation” captures MOHLER at full intensity. “Mohler Mosh” will already deliver relentless energy. Murphy’s solo will drive the track into historic territory and lock it into the lineage of metal that built this genre in the first place.

Broken Curfew Records handles digital distribution for MOHLER. Roxx Records will deliver the physical edition. Stay tuned for full album details and the official release date. The Groans Of Creation is coming.
